GTSport Racing: Baldwin Finishes Out Incredible Weekend With an Epic Win at PWC Round 4

Kennesaw, GA – April 27, 2014 – GTSPORT RACING ended the Pirelli World Challenge at Barber Motorsports Park weekend on a high note. Jack Baldwin, of Marietta, GA, lead from start to finish during Round 4 of the GTS class race in his #73 RESET-MD/Motul/StopTech Porsche Cayman S to clinch the win and score his second podium of the weekend.

Baldwin started from the pole after setting the fastest lap in Saturday’s Round 3 race in which he finished third. He held the lead from flag to flag for an amazing 29 consecutive laps during the 52-minute race. Baldwin also set the fastest lap time of Round 4 with his 1:31.937 best and an average speed of 90.061 MPH. Driving what could be described as the perfect race, Baldwin was ahead of the second place car by an astounding 4.782 seconds when he crossed the finish line.

“Yesterday we had a rough race and there was more work to do last night. We changed the setup, and today’s car was a completely different car. I’m so proud to be able to do this for the team. It’s just fantastic. I want to say thanks to all the fans and everyone who rooted for us, and never gave up on us. I’ve been racing for a long time, but this one I’ll definitely remember.” He continued on to say that “this is for the crew and all their hard work to get us to this point. It was truly a team endeavor, and if it weren’t for these guys, I wouldn’t have been able to race this weekend, let alone win. The entire GTSport racing team, Bob Sanderson and the Goldcrest Motorsports crew, along with Mike McConville and Magnum Collision, did an outstanding job – everyone pitched in and made this a real winning effort. We left St. Pete third in points, then left Long Beach in thirteenth. Now, thanks to the hard work of our crew, suppliers, supporters, and partners, we’re third again and back in the game!”

Buz McCall, of Boca Raton, FL, driver of the GTSport #72 RESET-MD/Motul/StopTech Porsche Cayman S had finished seventeenth in Round 3 the day before, and qualified in the twenty-second position. For Round 4, McCall utilized the knowledge gained during the previous race to deftly overcome car after car before he crossed the finish in fourteenth.

Despite the setbacks encountered over the past two weeks, the GTSport Racing team refused to give in; they rose to the occasion and transformed several unfortunate circumstances into the race weekend of a lifetime. Earning two pole position qualifiers, a third-place podium and ultimately a first-place victory, the team’s hard work and dedication has been justly rewarded.

P.TEN Marketing: Press Release - GALOT Motorsports: Rivenbark Drives at EOPM and Obtains NHRA License

GALOT MOTORSPORTS: Rivenbark Drives at EOPM and Obtains NHRA License

Clinton, NC – August 11, 2013 – GALOT MOTORSPORTS’ driver Kevin Rivenbark participated in his first Extreme Outlaw Pro Mod (EOPM) race at Virginia Motorsports Park in Petersburg, VA on August 10, 2013 and also completed testing to obtain his NHRA license!

In a field of over 20 cars, Rivenbark qualified sixth overall after a best 1/8th mile run of 3.877 at 190.40 MPH in his supercharged 2002 Pontiac Firebird.

Moving into eliminations, the first round initially appeared to be another typical Rivenbark rush to the finals. Despite running an impressive 3.858 at 190.83 MPH pass ‐ an ET identical to that of his opponent – the time slip showed that, unfortunately, Rivenbark left the line a mere hundredth of a second later which allowed the other driver to get the holeshot win.

With GALOT teammate Todd “King Tut” Tutterow managing the car, Rivenbark returned later that evening to make several 1/4 mile passes in hopes of obtaining his NHRA competition license. With Tutterow’s legendary tuning abilities and Rivenbark’s flawless driving prowess, the team was successful in their mission. Making his quickest pass to date, Rivenbark’s best licensing run was a 5.93 at 237 MPH trip down the 1,320.

Rivenbark is quickly making a name for himself this year as one of the top up‐and‐coming drivers; his hard work, positive attitude and consistency are rapidly earning him the respect and attention of the racing community. With licensing now complete, Rivenbark is planning to drive at several NHRA races later this year in the Pro Mod class.

P.TEN Marketing: Press Release - GALOT Motorsports: Rivenbark is on a Roll with His Second X-DRL Win in a Row

GALOT Motorsports: Rivenbark is on a Roll with His Second X-DRL Win in a Row

Clinton, NC – July 28, 2013 – GALOT MOTORSPORTS’ driver Kevin Rivenbark took home the Pro Mod class win at the X‐DRL race at Maryland International Raceway in Mechanicsville, MD on July 26‐28, 2013.

Fresh off another Pro Mod win at the last X‐DRL race in St. Louis, MO, Rivenbark pressed hard during qualifying and was able to rank second overall with a 3.970 at 168.03 MPH run during session two in his supercharged 2002 Pontiac Firebird. Opting to sit out Q3 to make some adjustments to the car, Rivenbark came back for Q4 to go 3.999 at 187.36 MPH, bumping up his best qualifying trap speed by almost 20 MPH.

Rain delays pushed eliminations into Sunday, but sunny skies revealed success for Rivenbark on race day. Heading into the first round, Rivenbark was able to overtake his opponent by the 330‐foot mark and held the lead the rest of the way down the track to trigger the win lights in his lane. In the final round, Rivenbark had a solid launch and left the start well. Running his quickest and fastest pass of the event, the scoreboards lit up as Rivenbark flew through the traps and showed the crowds what they were hoping to see – a 3.906 at 188.81 MPH run put the GALOT driver into the winner’s circle! Rivenbark now has two X‐DRL Pro Mod wins and two runner‐up finishes under his belt for the 2013 season.

Fellow GALOT driver Todd Tutterow qualified well during Pro X‐Treme in his supercharged 1967 Ford Mustang GT500. In Q2, Tutterow went 3.748 at 205.44 MPH which placed him fifth overall. Besting himself in Q3, Tutterow’s 3.702 at 207.37 MPH pass wound up being his strongest qualifying run and at the end of round four, King Tut was seated in the six spot. Despite a huge holeshot advantage in the first round of eliminations, sadly Tutterow was not able to hang on to the lead at the big end and was out.

M.O.R.E.: Jason Kaminsky Sponsorship Announced for 2013

M.O.R.E.: Jason Kaminsky Sponsorship Announced for 2013

Delta, CO – January 22, 2013 – MOUNTAIN OFF‐ROAD ENTERPRISES (M.O.R.E.) is proud to announce the official sponsorship of Jason Kaminsky of the Four Corners 4×4 team for the 2013 season, a continuation of the 2012 collaboration between the two.

Working in conjunction with M.O.R.E., the team plans to enter a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited into competition in the Ultra4 4600 Stock Class, the Dirt Riot 4600 Stock Class, and will also compete in the 2013 King of the Hammers event. Hailing from Durango, Colorado, Four Corners 4×4 owner Kaminsky will head the team as the primary driver while Doug Bigelow of Sharpsburg, Maryland and Richard Jenkins of Farmington, New Mexico will co‐drive at the King of the Hammers and Dirt Riot events, respectively.

When Kaminsky, a recreational off‐road wheeler for nearly fifteen years, heard that the stock class was starting back up for the 2012 King of Hammers, he decided it was time for something different. With the support of family and friends, Kaminsky followed his dream and started parting‐out his YJ Wrangler with fourteen years of rock‐rash and memories to build a new rig. The result is a 2006 LJ Jeep Wrangler rockracer that quickly caught the attention of the off‐road community. Team Four Corners 4×4’s first season of competition earned the team numerous accolades, multiple podium finishes, and most notably, the respectful eyes of sponsors and fellow competitors.

Both M.O.R.E. and Team Four Corners 4×4 believe that involvement in the local community brings exposure to the sport, ensures the growth and success of this unique form of motorsports, and fosters awareness which is crucial to keeping public lands open for the safe and enjoyable operation of off‐road vehicles; this partnership between the two entities will help to promote these ideals and others. With a wildly successful 2012 season already under his belt, the future looks bright for M.O.R.E., Jason Kaminsky and the Four Corners 4×4 team!
